MattsMacintoshThe new extended version of iPad 2 is coming up as iPad HD, while many speculations suggest that iPad HD is actually iPad 3. The new iPad HD is one step ahead of iPad 2 when it comes to visuals and image quality. The iPad HD will sport a resolution of 2048 x 1536 in pixels while its predecessor iPad 2 is having a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Even iPhone 4 has a resolution of 960 x 640 which is double compared to iPhone 3GS.
The launch of iPad HD is yet not decided, but rumors suggest that it will be launched along with iPhone 5 featuring a double core processor and 8 MP camera. To put it in a nutshell iPad HD is a new improved version of iPad 2.
Apple iPad 2 was just launched a few months back and it is already available in market in various versions.

Yutaka TsutanoApple dominates tablet branding, with its iPad and iPad 2 devices selling faster than analysts expected. According to another survey by Bernstein Research, half of the consumers in the U.S. and U.K. want an iPad while the rest want a tablet that looks and feels just like the iPad. Even among respondents who would consider a non-Apple tablet, there is still a preference for tablets with specs similar to those established by Apple with the iPad.
A third of American children aged 6 to 12 named the iPad as the most desired holiday gift among all electronic products. While 8.4 percent of the 1,000 people surveyed by America's Research Group said they had already bought an iPad, another 6.1 percent said they planned to buy the device.
